President's Report
Dear Nebraska CCIM Members,
It is a profound honor to continue to serve as your President for the 2026 term. Having been a part of this chapter for ten years, I have seen firsthand the expertise, resilience, and integrity that define our Nebraska CCIM community.
As we navigate the current shifts in the commercial real estate landscape – from the evolving office markets to industrial growth along the I-80 corridor – the value of the "Gold Standard" has never been more relevant. This year, my attention will focus on three core goals:
- Elevated Networking: Creating more frequent, high-value opportunities for us to connect, share deal flow, and collaborate. Both the Big Deals luncheon and CWS events proved to be great events for designees, candidates and sponsors alike. Be on the lookout for another event later this year.
- Practical Education: Bringing in local and national experts to provide insights into the specific economic drivers affecting Nebraska. This included the course specifically focused on AI and its effect on our industry, hosted by Michael Hironimous. We look forward to the annual class from Woods & Aitken. The three-hour credit course will be held on September 24 and we’re looking forward to a full classroom experience once again.
- Designee Growth: Supporting our candidates as they pursue the pin and ensuring our chapter remains a powerhouse of talent. We should have 3-4 people testing this Fall. It will be a great thing to celebrate welcoming new members into our chapter.
I want this year to continue to be defined by engagement. Whether you are a seasoned Designee or a new Candidate, your voice is vital to our success. Call me. Email me. Whatever avenue you choose, please reach out to me with anything that might be on your mind.
Thank you for your continued dedication to excellence in commercial real estate. I look forward to working alongside each of you to make 2026 our most impactful year yet.
Sincerely,
Robert P. M. Stefka, CCIM
President, Nebraska Chapter
