November 2025 Chapter Newsletter
President's Report
As we push through Q4, I hope all CCIMs and candidates are excited for year end and pushing the final few deals to the closing table. It's been a strong year for the CCIM Nebraska Chapter, with growing momentum that positions us well for an even more successful 2026.
In 2025 the Nebraska Chapter welcomed four new Designees, including Gerik Moeller, CCIM, who earned his pin at the Fall Forum in Vancouver. We also added nine new candidate members and four new chapter sponsors. Additionally we awarded the Kevin T. Rhodes, CCIM Named Education Scholarship for the first time. To celebrate our new designees, new candidates, and all sponsors, CCIM is hosting a happy hour event on November 12 at 30Hop in the Heartwood Preserve Development. All chapter members, sponsors, and anyone interested in joining the chapter are welcome to come enjoy drinks and appetizers. Please share the invite!
The Fall Forum in Vancouver was a standout event, marking the largest CCIM conference to date with more than 500 total attendees, including 129 test takers. The introduction of new speakers and enhanced educational sessions significantly boosted the value for participants. Looking ahead I strongly encourage all Nebraska Chapter members to attend The Spring Forum on April 19-23, 2026 in Philadelphia. This event promises excellent education, networking, and special events.
For 2026 chapter leadership Rob Stefka, CCIM will serve as our chapter President and Dylan McCabe, CCIM is moving from the Treasurer/Secretary role into Vice President. The Treasurer/Secretary role is open and we are seeking interested members to apply to join the board. Please reach out to myself, Rob, or Dylan if you are interested in supporting chapter operations. We're also forming a new Sponsorship Committee, which I'll chair in 2026, and we welcome additional members to contribute.
Chapter Dues for 2026 are unchanged at $125 per year. We've adopted Unified Billing, allowing you to pay chapter dues alongside your national dues through the CCIM Institute for added convenience.
Cheers to a great 2025, thank you to the Chapter for allowing me the rewarding opportunity to be Chapter President. Let's continue building on our successes in 2026.
Sincerely,
Grant Kobes, CCIM
